MUTEK

Their eco-responsible mission: In constant learning, they pride themselves on exploring the tools, opinions, and options available to them in order to better understand this impact, and grow as a responsible event.

Helped in their approach by local and international partners, their transition has accelerated since 2021 thanks to the involvement of committed audiences, a trained and aware production team and an action plan integrated into the implementation of events.

In 2023, MUTEK is awarded the BNQ Level 3 standard and wins the Grand Vivat Award for Responsible Events. If these efforts are recognized, these distinctions are above all a way to affirm their approach and continue the development of a responsible event.

Partners since 2023, we have already saved more than 100 kilos of food thanks to the raw food bars for the Forum and zero-waste snacks provided for volunteers and employees of the festival.

QSQEP

We have been a member of the Network for 5 years now, which allows us to have access to training, a network and quality events in sustainable development.

MT Lab

Their mission: The first startup incubator dedicated to tourism, culture and entertainment in North America, the MT Lab was created by UQAM and Tourisme Montréal and opened its doors in September 2017. Located in the heart of Montreal's Quartier des spectacles, a meeting place, a startup accelerator and a platform for exchanges, the MT Lab supports companies with innovative solutions for the major players in the industry.

We are fortunate to have an office in their coworking space, which allows us to establish sustainable practices in the place and to make inspiring encounters on a daily basis.

TheGenerator

THE GENERATOR

Powered by the Forum jeunesse de l'île de Montréal (FJÎM), a body of Concertation Montréal (CMTL), La Génératrice aims to stimulate young people's civic engagement. His goal? To enable young Montrealers aged 15 to 29 to develop and implement their own civic involvement project. A great way to help young people exercise their leadership and change things for the better. The Zero Waste Project had the chance to start its activities thanks to funding from La Génératrice, the project being one of the 12 lucky ones of the 2018-2019 cohort!

L'Épicerie santé - Rachelle Béry

As the first all-natural grocery store to open in Montreal, Rachelle Béry is committed to the health of the planet as much as that of the people who live there. The grocery store provides us with food that has just expired or is too damaged to be sold so that we can offer you free zero waste cooking workshops. A great way to avoid wasting food that is still very edible!

Partners with us since October 2018, Rachelle Bery Saint-Denis has enabled us to save nearly 33 tons of food from the garbage and it continues every week.

Global Education and Development

The main goal of EGD is to help people individually and collectively become conscious subjects of their own development, while helping others to follow the same path. We invite you to work with individuals, institutions and communities to promote these goals and approaches.

Through our partnership, we are here to help immigrants adopt sustainable and eco-friendly habits. We guide them to reduce their waste at source, food waste and how to properly sort their waste through workshops, conferences and discussion groups.
